Today is National Administrative Professionals' day, also known as Secretaries Day. Helps us celebrate our secretaries and administrative assistants.
Their job is much more than answering the phone and filing papers. Our secretaries are the smile you see when you enter the building, the face your child sees when they are sick, and the voice a parent hears when they call the school. Our secretaries are the people maintaining your child's record, protecting their privacy, and communicating with families and staff. Our secretaries order supplies, take temperatures, set appointments, update the website, and a long list of other tasks that help our schools and departments run efficiently. The secretaries at our schools and within our departments play a vital role in supporting our administrators, students, and families.
