The Marshfield High School track teams had a strong showing at the 115th Coos County Track Meet on Friday at Prefontaine Track.
While North Bend won the boys title and Coquille took the girls, the Pirates had some dominating individual results.
Alex Garcia-Silver continued his shining running career by breaking the Coos County Meet record in the 1500 with a time of 3:59.
Bodey Lutes won the 800 in 1:57, Jaxson Stovall won the 3,000 in 9:49, Jack Waddington won the high jump at 6-0 and Mitchell George won the long jump at 19-1.75.
For the Marshfield girls, Keira Crawford won the high jump at 4-8 and Daphne Scriven won the discus at 118-3 and the shot put at 33-1.75.
The most impressive event was the boys 4 x 400 relay with Jack Waddington, Alex Garcia-Silver, Elijah Cellura and Bodey Lutes coming in at 3:28 in an exciting finish to beat North Bend.
