First graders at Eastside School showed off their improved vocabulary skills during Habitat Hullaballoo last Thursday night. Eastside first graders were so proud to celebrate their hard work and the knowledge they have acquired this year. Not only did they beautifully perform some songs about their favorite habitats, but they also dazzled their families with reading their reports on their favorite animals, and turned our commons area into a museum of their fine art.
βThis hullabaloo was a celebration of learning from our newly adopted Amplify CKLA curriculum,β Principal Kara Davidson said. βIt was so great to hear students using their new vocabulary to teach their parents about their habitats.β
