Last Thursday, Marshfield High School held its awards ceremony for the Marshfield Industrial Skills Contest. This year the competition had over 300 student entries. These students came from local high schools including Bandon, Marshfield, Myrtle Point, North Bend, and Pacific. They competed across 23 events. In total, the sponsors donated over $7,000 worth of prizes this year for the students placing in the top three of an event. Some of these prizes included paid summer internship opportunities on top of the physical prize
Below are the students who placed in the top three places in each event. Our students did incredibly well and ended up winning many events despite the increased competition this year. Please congratulate them as you see them.
