IT Helpdesk - Ext. 1200
Coos Bay Public Schools is committed to the academic success of all students and recognizes technology as an essential part of teaching and learning. As workplaces become increasingly technology-driven, national and state standards emphasize the use of digital tools to develop critical thinking, problem-solving, research, communication, and collaboration skills needed for success in the 21st century.
To support these goals, Coos Bay educators and technology staff continuously integrate technology-rich learning opportunities into the curriculum, including maintaining a 1:1 student-to-device environment. The Technology & Information Services leads the district’s digital transformation by investing in secure, integrated, sustainable, and unified technology solutions that strengthen partnerships among schools, departments, stakeholders, and the community.
The Office of Technology & Information Services supports academic and operational excellence by empowering people and processes with transformative technology that ensures every student—regardless of race, class, or identity—has the opportunity to become a compassionate critical thinker, effective collaborator, and problem solver prepared to lead in an increasingly diverse and socially just world.
